In 1931 a long-sought dream became reality. Giuseppe Cipriani opened the doors to Harry's Bar. In a discreet stone building perched along a canal just off Piazza San Marco in Venice, he created a timeless and impeccably appointed establishment. His concept was to serve others as you would want to be served yourself. His vision of simple luxury came to touch the souls of people all over the world. He created the Cipriani label.

With over 20 years experience, Italian artist & illustrator Fabio Vettori, from Trento with his gregarious, cheerful 'hants' puts his special brand of magic in a variety of cities and social events. In 1972 he began to be drawn to the subject of the ants, which soon became his signature style. The ants, in fact, allowed to combine the interest of Vectors for the detail with the possibility to multiply the characters within a same scene. Since 2000 Fabio Vettori is part of the Consortium Artistic and Artisan Quality Trentino , which deals with the promotion and marketing of handicraft products from South Tyrol. In 2003 he published his first book " A World of Ants ", which tells the fantasy world of ants through his illustrations and words, in collaboration with the critic Maurizio Scudiero.
Watch the video clips below and see how his hants are created and how he makes them come to life! We are pleased to sell Fabio Vettori 'hants = formiche' themed jigsaw puzzles (1080 pcs) of Italian cities & monuments. A game for the whole family..
"La Margherita” is a little and inviting shop (workshop) in Venice, in Corte Canal near Campo della Lana. It is well known to Venetians, who stop by often along with countless visitors from all over the world.
The artist, Margherita Rossetto, creates her one-of-a-kind pieces using age-old artist techniques and an ever-changing style right in the workshop for all the passersby to see. A graduate of the Art Institute of Padova in Textile Art, she then went on to the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice to study set design. She has worked with many professional artists and artisans. Her interests are not limited to ceramics; they range from scenography to photography to a continual quest for new ways of expression and new materials.
Recently, her work with ceramics was profiled in the book “Venice and its Artisan Artists”, edited by Vianello Libri and sponsored by UNESCO. Margherita Rossetto keeps the tradition of ceramics in Venice alive, using the maioliche technique, innovating and transforming it with her own personal style. Each piece is unique: her painting is ever changing in its moods, games and surprises. Her objects are for everyday use, yet they add playful sunshine to a walk through the streets and squares of Venice.

Nicola Tenderini born in 1965 in Venice begun his education with Artistic Lycee in Venice, where he followed the course of Architecture. He cultivated a true passion that lead him to enter Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. Since 1998 he has opened his Atelier: in the ground floor where he proposes water colour artistic reproductions; he has his studio at the second floor, with a magnificent view on Rialto area. In the afternoon he preferably works en plein air around Venice. His favorite subjects are architecture, Venetian atmospheres, doors worn out by water on the canal; he constantly looks for particular wall shadings and foreshortening, shadows that cut and shape capitals and three-light windows of Venetian palaces.
